  10. recovery earned her the Nuprin Comeback 
  11. Award in March 1992.

  13. Shannon went on to compete at the 1992 
  14. Olympics, in Barcelona, Spain. Although
  15. other U.S. gymnasts got more attention
  16. before the Olympics, Shannon won five
  17. medals -- more than any other U.S. 
  18. athlete at the Games. (She won silver 
  19. medals in the all-around competition
